The evaluation version of GUI ScreenIO is not limited in any way. You can use all of the features available in GUI ScreenIO.
We'll provide technical support if you ask for it, too.
If you do not obtain a registration key from us, the GUI ScreenIO panel editor will cease to work when you reach the end of the evaluation period.
Applications that you develop using an unregistered version of GUI ScreenIO may not be used for any purpose other than evaluating the product.
You may not distribute applications that you develop using the unregistered version of GUI ScreenIO.
Panels that you developed using the unregistered product may be converted to production (non-evaluation) status. Simply open them in the editor and save them using the registered version of GUI ScreenIO.
Registering GUI ScreenIO entitles you to use the GUI ScreenIO panel editor on one (1) computer.
You may install the panel editor on a network server, but you must obtain a registration key for each workstation that uses the GUI ScreenIO panel editor.
You may distribute applications that you develop using GUI ScreenIO ("Derivative Applications") without restriction, except as noted in "Prohibited Use".
The GUI ScreenIO runtime DLLs may also be distributed with your Derivative Applications.
You do not need to pay royalties to Norcom or any other party for the use of GUI ScreenIO when distributing Derivative Applications.
You may not use or distribute applications developed using GUI ScreenIO, that compete with GUI ScreenIO or other Norcom software products.
GUI ScreenIO's TCP/IP interface may not be used for the purpose of sending Bulk Unsolicited Commercial Electronic Mail ("Spam"), which is defined as electronic mail sent to a total of more than 50 recipients for the purpose of advertising a commercial product or service, unless the addressee has explicitly indicated a desire to receive such mail.
Today's software is exceedingly complex and we have expended a considerable amount of effort to ensure that GUI ScreenIO operates substantially as documented.
Norcom does not, however, warrant that GUI ScreenIO is perfect.
If a bug is reported, Norcom will evaluate the report and if a bug is identified, Norcom will correct it in a timely manner.
You assume the risk of testing your applications developed with GUI ScreenIO and ensuring they work correctly.
If you use GUI ScreenIO to develop a mission-critical application, you should test it thoroughly to ensure that it works as expected.
Norcom will not be liable for consequential damages or losses attributed to errors in GUI ScreenIO.
