Snap Fine and Snap Coarse

These settings allow you to set an imaginary grid upon the screen to which each new control or any control you move will "snap".  You can toggle the snap setting on or off as you prefer.  If selected, a check mark will appear next to the menu item.

When designing a new panel, its often best to turn on snap and leave it on till all controls are placed to make alignment of controls easier.  It will be obvious when snap is on because the Move Cursor becomes a sort of spider like symbol.  For fine adjustment, turn snap off again.

If you didn't use Snap, or occasionally even if you did, you may have controls that are just a little out of position.  It can take an inordinate amount of time to clean up a complex panel created without using Snap.
